The Quality Lab Technician plays a key role in testing and reporting. They are responsible for day-to-day testing requirements and requests on both production and R&D material. Relaying this information to responsible parties is a critical part of this role.

• Responsible for the performance of all lab testing, collection of results, and reporting results for all production processes and R&D projects.
• Reports “out of condition” results for all such products.
• Participates in tracking product attributes and quality control points, taking note where process impacts the production quality.
• Contributes to Quality Team discussions regarding development, implementation, and support of quality management systems to maintain and improve the quality of all products.
• Contributes to the lab team by displaying a flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
• Follows implemented quality improvement techniques and risk management activities.
• May be asked to write work instructions for lab procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years working in a quality control and/or lab role
• Prefer two years technical experience and/or education
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem solve
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with major emphasis on Excel
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Must work well within a team and alone
• Comfortable working with a 24x7 environment
• Prefer the ability to occasionally lift and move 50-pound bags of plastic resin pellets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
